Queensland Women Rise (QWR) exists to support women working in, entering and leading Queensland's industries.
As an initiative of the Queensland Council of Unions, we bring together workers, unions, employers, industry groups, training providers and education institutions to create workplaces where women can build long, successful and rewarding careers.
We believe every woman should have the opportunity to feel safe, respected and valued at work, with access to the same opportunities to learn, progress and lead.
Everything we do is informed by the experiences of working women across Queensland. Through research, education, collaboration and practical support, we work with industry to identify opportunities, share knowledge and develop solutions that strengthen workplaces for everyone.
